Having just sold Erling Haaland to Manchester City, reports claim that Borussia Dortmund have found an African star as the striker's replacement.
Following the news of Mane's impending arrival in Munich, it seems another one of the Bundesliga's top sides could also have a West African leading their line come the 2022/23 campaign.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Ajax Amsterdam and Dortmund have agreed a fee for Ivory Coast international Sebastien Haller.
The striker is said to be set to cost BVB €32 million (R538 million), with personal terms between his representatives and the Bundesliga side understood to already be agreed too.
Should the move be completed, the 28-year-old will be returning to the league where he established himself as one of the leading marksmen in Europe.
The French-born striker earned a €50 million (R839 million) move to West Ham United in 2019 after scoring 20 goals and providing 12 assists for Eintracht Frankfurt in the 2018/19 campaign.
While he was not as prolific in London, a move to Ajax seems to have revitalised the Ivorian's career.
During his time in the Netherlands to date, Haller has found the back of the net an astonishing 47 times in 65 games, scoring 11 times in eight UEFA Champions League matches while also capturing the Eredivisie Golden Boot for the 2021/22 season.
