Borussia Dortmund have agreed to sign Marco Rose from Bundesliga rivals Borussia Monchengladbach, with the coach set to take over at BVB from next season.
The Black and Yellows have struggled in recent Bundesliga matches, with Edin Terzic only winning six of his 12 games in charge of the Bundesliga side to date.
Terzic himself replaced Lucien Favre earlier in the campaign, but his stint will come to an end when the 2020/21 season is over.
While Dortmund are yet to confirm the news, Borussia Monchengladbach have announced that Rose will switch clubs once the season is completed.
— Gladbach (@borussia_en) February 15, 2021"We have held a lot of talks in recent weeks to discuss Marco's future," Gladbach sporting director Max Eberl said.
"Unfortunately, he has opted to trigger a clause in his contract and leave this summer. Until then, we will work hard to achieve our goals in the league, cup and Europe together."
Rose joined Gladbach in July 2019 and guided one of Germany's most successful clubs in history back to the UEFA Champions League, before making headlines in Europe's elite club competition this season, with the team having reached the knockout stages.
