Bundesliga outfit Bayern Munich continue to bolster squad and have now announced the signings of an FC Barcelona star as well as a French midfielder.

The Bundesliga champions on Friday announced that they had agreed a deal with FC Barcelona for the loan transfer of Philippe Coutinho.
A statement from Barcelona read,"FC Bayern and Barcelona have agreed terms for the transfer of Philippe Coutinho to Munich.
"The Brazil international initially joins the German record champions from the Catalan side on a season-long loan, with Bayern possessing an option to make the deal for the 27-year-old forward permanent after that.

"I can confirm that Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and I were in Barcelona this week and reached agreement with FC Barcelona, the player and his management. The talks were very good and I'd also like to thank FC Barcelona for that. Obviously we still have to finalise a few details, but we're delighted to be bringing this player to FC Bayern," sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic told the club's official website.

Bayern also confirmed the signing of young French midfielder Mickaël Cuisance from Borussia Monchengladbach.
