Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich have officially announced the signing of Sadio Mane from Liverpool for a reported fee that could rise to €41 million (R691 million).
Following months of speculation, we now know where Mane will be playing his football come the 2022/23 season, and it will be at the Allianz Arena.

June 22, 2022 The Senegalese winger's desire to join Die Roten has been perhaps one of the worst-kept secrets in football in recent times, with multiple reports having anticipated his arrival in Germany.
Speaking to Sky Sport Germany a few days ago, Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic was asked for the latest regarding Mane's move following reports of an agreement between the two clubs.
"Yes, he's coming!" the Bosnian stated.
Prior to Liverpool's tussle with Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League final in May, the 30-year-old was rather ambiguous regarding his future, stating that he would only speak on the matter once the final was over.
Following the Reds' defeat in Paris, the Bavarian giants were the team most heavily linked with Mane, and the move has now come to fruition.
The Senegalese forward has decided to end his six-year stay on Merseyside having found the back of the net 120 times and provided 48 assists during his time with Liverpool.
This is not the first time Bayern have poached one of Jurgen Klopp's star men, having lured Robert Lewandowski and Mario Gotze away from Borussia Dortmund during the German tactician's time at Signal Iduna Park.
Mane will perhaps have massive boots to fill if Lewandowski leaves the German giants. The Pole has scored at least 40 goals in each of his last two seasons with the 32-time Bundesliga champions, and has made it explicitly clear he wants out of the club.
