Bayern Munich star Manuel Neuer is well aware of the threat posed by Pitso Mosimane's Al Ahly should the two teams meet in FIFA Club World Cup semi-finals.
The tournament gets underway this week, with the African champions taking on Al Duhail in the second round on Thursday evening.
The winners of that clash will take on the current UEFA Champions League holders in the semi-finals on Monday.
Neuer, who won the competition with Bayern in 2013, feels the Red Devils will not be an easy opponent if they advance to the last four.
"We already know Al Ahly. They're the African Champions League winners, so it wouldn't be an easy game at all.
"The same was true in 2013. It's not very easy to play against sides you don't know very well."
Thursday's other second-round clash will see Tigres UANL lock horns with Ulsan Hyundai, with the winner set to take on South American champions Palmeiras.
