According to Sky Germany, the Bundesliga champions are in advanced talks with the London club ahead of a possible move to land the 29-year-old's signature.
Kane had previously been heavily linked with Manchester United, but it is understood that Spurs are unwilling to sell the England international to another team in the Premier League for less than €100 million (R2 billion).
The publication claims that the forward is now ready to take his career to the Bavarians, and that Bayern believe Spurs' asking price would be slightly lower for them.
Kane enjoyed a stellar goalscoring campaign this past term as he found the back of the net on 32 occasions across all competitions, with 30 of those strikes coming in the Premier League.
This means the Three Lions captain is now just 47 goals away from equalling Alan Shearer's record in England's top division, a milestone he is believed to want to achieve in his career.
