In a world where the likes of Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho receive most of the praise, Jurgen Klopp stands out for his own unique qualities. One of his former players has described him as an "animal" who can put even the most high-profile stars "under his spell".
After coming through the ranks at Borussia Dortmund, winger Marco Reus made his professional debut at Borussia Monchengladbach in 2009. He returned to BVB just three years later, where Klopp made him an integral part of his team.
Reus worked under the German manager for three years before the tactician was courted by Liverpool in 2015, but to this day, the tricky forward cannot forget the impact Klopp had on him, and still has on so many players.

"Oh my god, Jurgen was such an animal!" he told DAZN.
"If Jurgen sits in front of you with his aura, which he radiates even when speaking, with his stature, it's really quite impressive.
"He brings you under his spell and will not let you go. My heart was racing after we first spoke. He was definitely one of the reasons why I signed for Dortmund.
"Jurgen can develop players and make them better. He has a special way about him."
