German giants Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund have both unveiled their new away kits for the 2019/20 campaign, and the new strips could not be more different as they appear in opposing colours of white and black.

BVB unveiled their new PUMA "Men of Steel" kit late last week, with the new black strip being inspired by the steel that has characterised the city of Dortmund for more than a hundred years since the mid-19th century.
"By way of an homage to steel, the shirt is dominated by the colours black, grey and silver," an official press release from PUMA read.
"The broad vertical stripes have been kept black, with a black and grey graphic now visible between them. The logos of PUMA and Evonik and the two formstrips on the shoulders have been kept in striking silver, while the sole dash of yellow comes from the club emblem on the chest. One special detail is the print that reads 'Forever Borussia Dortmund' in German at the neck."

Bayern, meanwhile, unveiled their new white away shirt on Sunday, saying it pays reference to some of the club's most important seasons.
"What do winning the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1967, the European Cup in 1976, the Uefa Cup in 1996 and the Bundesliga title in 2013 in Frankfurt have in common? Both Franz 'Bulle' Roth (1967, 1976) as well as Thomas Helmer, Mehmet Scholl (1996) and Bastian Schweinsteiger (2013) with his famous back-heel scored the winning goals in white shirts," a statement on the Bavarians' official website read.
"Thomas Müller company could continue that tradition in the coming campaign as FC Bayern will play in a new, overwhelmingly white away shirt in 2019/20."
