The young forward wrote his name into the record books when he became the youngest footballer in Bundesliga history at 16 years and one day, coming on as a substitute in BVB's 5-2 win over Hertha Berlin on Saturday.
Speaking after the match, Haaland, who struck four goals in their victory, said he believes Moukoko is the brightest talent in the sport.
"I think he's the biggest talent in the world right now. 16 years and one day, that's quite amazing," he told ESPN.
"He has a big career ahead of him."
Asked about the talent he has shown in comparison, Haaland joked: "I'm over 20 years, so I'm getting old now, so that's how it is."
