Bayern Thrash Dortmund In Tuchel's First Game

Bayern Munich 4-2 Borussia Dortmund

Thomas Tuchel began his reign at Bayern Munich with 4-2 win over Bundesliga title rivals Borussia Dortmund on Saturday evening.

The hosts raced into a three-goal lead in the first half courtesy of a own goal from Gregor Kobl and a brace from Thomas Muller.

Kingsley Coman added a fourth goal for Bayern five minutes after the break.

Emre Can and Donyell Malen managed to get two goals back for Dortmund in the second half, although it was too late to mount a comeback.

The win takes the Bavarians up to top spot while Dortmund have dropped to second.

RB Leipzig 0-3 Mainz

RB Leipzig had a day to forget after going down 3-0 to Mainz on Saturday afternoon.

Marcus Ingvartsen put the visitors ahead in the ninth minute with his ninth league goal of the season.

Ludovic Ajorque and Dominik Kohr completed the scoring Mainz in the second half.

Union Berlin 3-0 Stuttgart

Union Berlin cemented third spot on the table with a 3-0 win over Stuttgart.

After scoreless first half, Sander Becker opened the scoring on 51 minutes before Kevin Behrens doubled the lead in the 65th minute.

The home side got the third goal three minutes later via an own goal from Genki Haraguchi.

Freiburg 1-1 Hertha Berlin

Freiburg and Hertha Berlin could not be separated after playing to a 1-1 draw on Satuday afternoon.

Vincenzo Grifo got the opening goal for Freiburg on 52 minutes, but Jessic Ngankam rescued a point for the visitors with the equaliser on 77 minutes.

Wolfsburg 2-2 Augsburg

Wolfsburg rallied back from two goals down to rescue a 2-2 draw against Augsburg.

The visitors raced into a two-goal lead through Maximilian Arnold's own goal and Mergim Berisha's strike.

Gian-Luca pulled one back for Wolfsburg on 83 minutes, before Felix Nmecha got the second equaliser in the sixth minute of time added on.

Schalke 0-3 Bayer Leverkusen

Bayer Leverkusen kept their European hopes alive with a 3-0 victory over struglling Schalke.

All three goals arrived in the second half, with Jeremie Frimpong, Florian Wirtz and Sardar Azmoun finding the back of the net.
