Bayern Slip Up As Dortmund Drop Points In 6-Goal Thriller

Bayern Munich 1-1 Hoffenheim 

Bayern Munich endured a frustrating afternoon after drawing 1-1 with Hoffenheim at the Allianz Arena.

Sadio Mane was left out of the squad after his bust-up with Leroy Sane, who was included in the starting line-up for this encounter.

Thomas Tuchel's men broke the deadlock on 17 minutes when Benjamin Pavard found the back of the net after being set up by Kingsley Coman.

Andrej Kramaric got the equaliser that sealed the point for Hoffenheim, who have boosted their survival hopes.

Stuttgart 3-3 Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund failed to take advantage of Bayern Munich's slip up as they dropped points a six-goal thriller against Stuttgart.

The visitors were quite dominant in the first and managed to find two goals thanks to Sebastien Haller in the 26th minute.

Donyell Malen got the second goal for the Black and Yellow, taking his tally to five league goals for the campaign.

Stuttgart, meanwhile, finished the half with ten men as Konstantinos Mavropanos picked up two yellow cards in the space of four minutes.

The visitors managed to get themselves back on level terms in the second half courtesy of goals from Tanguy Coulibaly and Josha Vagnoman.

Dortmund thought they had the final say after Giovanni Reyna bagged the third goal in the second minute of stoppage time, but Silas Katompa Mvumpa rescued a point for Stuttgart with the third goal in the 97th minute.

RB Leipzig 3-2 Augsburg

RB Leipzig cemented fourth spot for another week after defeating Augsburg 3-2 on Saturday afternoon.

Augsburg took a fifth-minute lead through Arne Maier, but they were pegged back when Kevin Kampl restored parity for Leipzg five minutes later.

Timo Wener then grabbed a quick-fire brace midway in the first half, with the second goal coming via a sensational volley from the edge of the box.

Ruben Vargas did pull a goal back for Augsburs on 82 minutes, but Leipzig did manage to hold on for the maximum points.

Cologne 1-1 Mainz

Cologne and Mainz could not be separated after playing to a 1-1 draw at the RheinEnergieStadion.

Mainz got the breakthrough in the 17th minute as Ludovic Arjorque got his fifth goal of the season with a close-range finish.

Dejan Ljubicic got the all-important equaliser for the home side six minutes after the halftime break.
