Augsburg 1-0 Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich lost for the first time this season after narrowly going down 1-0 against Augsburg at WWK Arena.

Augsburg had the best of the early chances as Florian Niederlechner forced a brilliant save out of goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.

The Bavarians picked up momentum after the half-hour mark and Jamal Musiala came the closest with a strike that produced the best out of shot-stopper Rafal Gikiewicz.

Mergim Berisha eventually broke the deadlock for Augsburg on the hour-mark with a close-range finish.

Gikiewicz played a big role for the home side in the closing stages as they held on to a famous win.

Borussia Dortmund 1-0 Schalke

Borussia Dortmund bounced back to winning ways after a late 1-0 win over rivals Schalke at Signal Iduna Park.

Dortmund had a slow start and only had a real crack at goal after the half-hour mark as Jude Bellingham and Marius Wolf were both denied by goalkeeper Alexander Schwolow.

However, Youssoufa Moukoko eventually broke the deadlock for the home side 11 minutes before time and that proved to be the winner.

Bayer Leverkusen 1-1 Werder Bremen

Bayer Leverkusen extended their winless streak to three matches after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Werder Bremen at BayArena.

After a goalless first stanza, Kerem Demirbay eventually broke the deadlock for Leverkusen just before the half-hour.

However, Milos Veljkovic levelled matters for Werder eight minutes before time.

Stuttgart 1-3 Eintracht Frankfurt

Eintracht Frankfurt got back to winning ways after thrashing Stuttgart 3-1 at Mercedes-Benz Arena.

Sebastian Rode gave Eintracht the perfect start with an early opener and Daichi Kamada doubled their advantage early in the second stanza.

Tiago Tomas pulled a goal back for home side with 11 minutes remaining. However, Kristikan Jakic put the game to bed for Eintracht two minutes before time.
