Union Berlin 1-1 Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich dropped points for the second successive Bundesliga game after drawing 1-1 with Union Berlin on Saturday afternoon.
Berlin took a surprising lead after 11 minutes courtesy of a strike from Sheraldo Becker's fifth goal of the campaign.
Bayern weren't behind for too long as Joshua Kimmich restored parity four minutes later with a wonderful strike.
The draw has seen Bayern drop to third on the log, one place above Berlin after five matches.
Bayer Leverkusen 2-3 Freiburg
Freiburg rallied from behind to secure a 3-2 win over Bayer Leverkusen and moved top of the log.
The home side got off to a promising start when Kerem Demirbay opened the scoring after 16 minutes.
Mathias Ginter and Michael Gregoritsch put Freiburg 2-1 in the second half.
Patrick Schick restored parity for the hosts on 65 minutes, but Ritsu Doan netted Freiburg's third goal six minutes later.
Wolfsburg FC 2-4 Cologne
The home side got off to the perfect start when Lukas Nmecha opened the scoring with his second goal of the season after four minutes.
Cologne were back on level terms in the 22nd minute thanks to Dejan Ljubicic's finish, before a Paulo Otavio own goal and a penalty Florian Kainz put the visitors 3-1 up.
Nmecha did give Wolfsburg some hope by bagging a second goal on 79 minutes, but Sargis Adamyan netted the visitors' fourth goal two minutes later.
Bochum 0-2 Werder Bremen
Werder Bremen got back to winning ways in the Bundesliga after defeating Bochum 2-1 at Vonovia Ruhrstadion.
After a goalless first half, Niclas Füllkrug bagged a quick-fire brace with goals in the 86th and 92nd minute to put Bremen 2-0 up.
Meanwhile, Erhan Masovic did bag a consolation in the 96th minute but it was ruled out by the Video Assistant Referee (VAR)
Stuttgart 1-1 Schalke
Stuttgart and Schalke could not be separated after playing to a 1-1 draw at the Mercedez Benz Arena.
Chris Fuhrich put the home side ahead with his first goal of the season in the 18th minute, but that lead didn't last long as Sime Terodde equalised three minutes later.
