Bayern Munich put on a five-star performance against VfL Bochum in their third Bundesliga match of the season and secured a resounding 7-0 victory on Sunday.
Three additions for Bayern featured from their triumph over VfL Wolfsburg last weekend in Matthijs De Ligt, Dayot Upamecano and Kingsley Coman.
Bayern were up and running in no less than four minutes through Leroy Sane and De Ligt before Coman and big off-season signing Sadio Mane added to the home side's woes ahead of halftime.
With a four-goal advantage at the break, the Bavarians carried on with their mesmerizing act as Mane converted from the spot whilst an own-goal from Cristian Gamboa put them further clear.
Substitute Serge Gnabry worsened Bochum's quest when he added his name on the score-sheet and helped the defending champions to an emphatic victory.
Eintracht Frankfurt's winless run in the Bundesliga extended to three matches courtesy of a 1-1 draw against FC Koln.
Eintracht threatened victory this after Daichi Kamada netted the opener in the latter stages of the match after the first half had finished goalless.
It wasn't to be the case though as the visiting team pulled themselves back on level terms from a finish by Jan Thielmann within minutes before the end of the match.
This is a result that leaves the host in the bottom-half of the table with just two points, while Koln languish in the top-half of the league standings on the back of this stalemate.
