Arminia Bielefeld 0-3 Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich put their Champions League shock behind them with a 3-0 win over Arminia Bielefeld.

After being knocked out of the Champions League by Villareal in quarterfinal action in midweek, Bayern needed a response and that is exactly what they produced.

Arminia's Jacob Barrett Laursen put the ball into his own net in the 10th minute before Serge Gnabry (45+7) and Jamal Musiala (84') got on the scoresheet.

The Bavarians restored their nine-point lead at the top of the table after Borussia Dortmund had cut it to six with a 6-1 thrashing of Wolfsburg on Saturday.

Bayern will clinch their 10th straight Bundesliga title with a win against Dortmund next weekend.

Hoffenheim 0-0 Furth

Hoffenheim failed to reclaim seventh position on the standings after playing to a goalless draw with Furth.

Hoffenheim are now winless in their last four matches, having lost three on the bounce prior. They have now slipped out of the top six and find themselves in eighth, which means they could miss out on continental football next season altogether.

Koln beating Borussia Monchengladbach 3-1 on Saturday meant they went above Hoffenheim, who were unable to take back seventh in a stalemate.

Union Berlin 2-0 Eintracht Frankfurt

Eintracht Frankfurt were brought crashing down to earth after their Europa League win over Barcelona as they fell to a 2-0 defeat to Union Berlin.

Eintracht shocked the footballing world by knocking FC Barcelona out of the Europa League at the quarterfinal stage in midweek.

However, those exertions appear to have taken a toll on them as they produced a listless and jaded performance against the Berliners.

Union have now won their last three matches on the bounce. They retain sixth position, while Eintracht are in tenth position.

Bayer Leverkusen 0-1 RB Leipzig

RB Leipzig leapfrogged Bayer Leverkusen into third position with a 1-0 win.

The crucial top-of-the-table clash was a cagey affair before Dominik Szoboszlai stole the points in the 69th minute with the solitary goal of the match.

It finishes off a great week for the Red Bull outfit, who saw off Atalanta in the Europa League quarterfinals in midweek.

Leverkusen are getting increasingly closer to missing out on Champions League football with SC Freiburg breathing down their necks.
