Borussia Dortmund 6-1 Wolfsburg

Borussia Dortmund put on a rampant showing as they thrashed Wolfsburg 6-1 at Signal-Iduna Park.

Dortmund were without a number of key names for the encounter, with Giovanni Reyna most notably ruled out for the rest of the season.

The absentees did not make a difference as the hosts broke the deadlock on 24 minutes through Tom Rothe, before Axel Witsel and Manuel Akanji extended the advantaged in the four minutes.

The hosts weren't done there as Emre Can added a fourth goal on 34 minutes before Erling Haaland got in on the act by bagging a brace as Dortmund moved to within six points of Bayern Munich.

Borussia Monchengladbach 1-3 FC Cologne

FC Cologne made it back-to-back wins in the Bundesliga after defeating Borussia Monchengladbach 3-1 on Saturday evening.

Anthony Modesete, Florian Kainz and Dejan Ljubicic got the goals for the visitors, who moved up to sixth position.

Bree Embolo got the consolation for Gladbach, who find themselves in 11th position.

Freiburg 3-0 Bochum

Freiburg kept their European ambitions alive with a 3-0 victory over Bochum on Saturday afternoon.

The hosts raced into a two-goal lead after 16 minutes thanks to strikes from Lukas Kubler and Roland Sallai.

Sallai got the side's third and his second eight minutes after the break, which wrapped up the tie.

Mainz 0-0 Stuttgart

Mainz and Stuttgart could not be separated after playing to a goalless draw on Saturday afternoon.

The draw extends Mainz's winless run to four matches, while Stuttgart have also now gone four league matches without tasting a win.

Augsburg 0-1 Hertha Berlin

Hertha Berlin boosted their survival hopes in the Bundesliga with a 1-0 triumph away to Augsburg on Saturday.

Suat Serdar's 49th minute strike was enough to secure victory and send Hertha three points clear of the relegation zone.
