Bayern Munich had a day to forget after they suffered a 5-1 loss to Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga on Saturday afternoon.

Bayern were dealt a blwo after just nine minutes when Jerome Boateng was shown a straight red card, before Filipa Kostic and Djibril Sow put the home side two goals up inside 33 minutes.

Robert Lewandowski pulled one back for Bayern on 37 minutes, keeping up his record of scoring every league game this season.

However, Frankfurt took control in the second half as David Abraham, Martin Hinteregger and Goncalo Paciencia completed the rout in the second half.

Borussia Dortmund got back to winning ways in the Bundesliga with a 3-0 triumph over Wolfsburg on Saturday afternoon.

After a scoreless opening 45 minutes, Thorgan Hazard got the breakthrough after 52 minutes with his first league goal of the season.

Raphael Guerreiro bagged the second goal six minutes later, before Mario Gotze rounded off the scoring from the penalty spot on 86 minutes.
