Bundesliga Title Race Takes Twist As Bayern Suffer Shock Loss

Bayern Munich 1-3 RB Leipzig 

The Bundesliga title race has taken another twist after Bayern Munich suffered a 3-1 loss to RB Leipzig on Saturday evening.

Thomas Tuchel's charges got off to a good start after Serge Gnabry opened the scoring in the 25th minute after being set up by Thomas Muller.

Leipzig pulled themselves level in the 64th minute through Konrad Laimer's strike.

Christopher Nkunku converted a penalty in the  76th minute to put Leipzig ahead on 76 minutes, before Dominik Szoboszlai scored a penalty of his own to make it 3-1.

As a result, Bayern remain one point clear of Borussia Dortmund, who can move top with a win against Augsburg on Sunday.

Hoffenheim 4-2 Union Berlin

Hoffenheim have sealed their safety after defeating Union Berlin 4-2 on Saturday evening.

Andrej Kramaric bagged a brace while, Ihlas Bebou and Mu'nas Dabbur also netted for the hosts, who moved four points clear of the bottom three with one game to play.

Berlin, meanwhile, missed the chance to cement fourth spot heading into the final day of the season.

Hertha Berlin 1-1 Bochum

Hertha Berling have been relegated to the second division after a 1-1 draw with Bochum.

Lucas Tousart looked to have given Hertha a lifeline when he opened the scoring on 63 minutes.

However, Keven Schlotterbeck netted the equaliser in the 94th minute for Bochum, who are only three points above the drop zone and one above the play-off spot.

Schalke 2-2 Eintracht Frankfurt

Schalke remain in danger after drawing 2-2 with Eintracht Frankfurt at the Veltins Arena.

Simon Terodde and Sebastian Polter netted for the home side, while Daichi Kamada and Tuta were on target for Frankfurt.

Schalke find themselves in the relegation play-off spot, one point adrift of safety with one game to go.

Werder Bermen 1-1 Cologne

Werder Bremen and FC Cologne could not be separated after playing to a 1-1 draw on Saturday afternoon.

Steffen Tigges opened the scoring for Cologne in the 36th minute, before Romano Schmid rescued a point for Bremen in the 73rd minute.
