It seems to be no secret that the Bundesliga champions are still keen to replace club legend Robert Lewandowski after the Pole decided to leave the Allianz Arena for Barcelona at the beginning of the campaign.
However, although the Bavarians have fared relatively well with their current attacking options in the league and UEFA Champions League, The Independent claims the German giants see Kane as a perfect fit for their side.
England's all-time top goalscorer has a contract with the Lilywhites until June 2024, and as he approaches the final 12 months of his current deal, the north Londoners will not be keen on losing their talisman for free.
The firing of Antonio Conte hardly makes a compelling case for the 29-year-old to stay at the club, but the same report does suggest that the Tottenham star is leaning towards staying in England in a bid to try to eclipse Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League goalscoring record (260).
