According to Sports Bild journalists Tobi Altschaffl and Christian Falk, there is a growing feeling the 31-year-old Senegal international will leave the Bundesliga giants at the end of the current campaign.
Mane is believed to be isolated from his colleagues since his controversial dressing-room punch on Leroy Sane, with Chelsea the latest club to be linked with the former Liverpool winger.
Head coach Thomas Tuchel is said to be ready to move him on in the next transfer window, amid suggestions his teammates are concerned by his apparent "technical deficits".
There is also a belief that Mane is overly greedy when he enters dangerous areas of the field, issues the club's scouts were reportedly aware of but chose to overlook.
The African superstar ended a trophy-laden six-year spell at the Reds last year as he sought a new challenge, but reports now claim his time in Germany is likely to be cut short.
