Following yet another underwhelming performance from Sadio Mane, Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel has sent a message to the Senegalese superstar amid his uncertain future.
Check Out: Mane To Return To Premier League?
Having scored just one goal in his past 10 Bundesliga appearances, questions about the 31-year-old's long-term future at the club are still being asked.
Mane was once again named in Tuchel's starting XI this past weekend when Bayern claimed a 2-0 victory over Hertha Berlin, but was substituted after 61 minutes following a quiet display.
Speaking after the game at the Allianz Arena, Tuchel seemed to have a message for the former Liverpool winger regarding the steps he should take to rediscover his best form.
"The situation is as it is," he said, according to Sports Brief.
"He has to keep his head up and keep working. The guy scored countless goals in the toughest league in the world."
Mane has been strongly linked with a move away from the Bavarians ahead of the 2023/24 season after his recent punch on Leroy Sane in the dressing room.
Bayern punished him with a monetary fine and a one-match suspension, but rumours suggest he could be moved on while the club believe they can still recoup the money spent on his signature.
