Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has revealed he did speak regularly with Cristiano Ronaldo's agent.

The Portuguese forward was heavily linked with a departure in the recently closed transfer window, with the player looking to join a team playing in the UEFA Champions League.
Bayern, Paris Saint-Germain, Napoli and Sporting Lisbon were among the sides reportedly interested in the 37-year-old forward.
However, Salihamidzic insists they had no plans to sign the five-time Ballon d'Or winner ahead of this season.
"He's an incredibly big personality," the Bayern director told Sky Germany.
"A big player who has made his mark on the world of football in recent years.
"It wasn't an option for us because we were doing other things and before that we organized our offensive in such a way that they But you don't have to feel sorry for him. He's a great footballer who has achieved great things in recent years."
When asked if he was in contact with Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes, he added, "I often talk to Jorge Mendes. Yes, we spoke."
Ronaldo is yet to start a game in the Premier League this season, with all of his appearances coming off the bench under Erik ten Hag this season.
