Five Real Madrid players were named in the team, as well as two Paris Saint-Germain stars, two FC Barcelona players, one AC Milan defender (who finished last season with Juventus), and a Bianconeri legend.
Gianluigi Buffon, who was selected in goal for the 2017 World XI, is reportedly on £72 000 (R1.2 million) a week in Italy, while his former teammate and current PSG star Dani Alves is said to be on a weekly wage of £205 000 (R3.68 million) in France.
Another former Juve player was named in the team in the form of Leonardo Bonucci, who reportedly takes home £128 000 (R2.3 million) a week at Milan, whom he joined at the start of the season, much to the surprise of many around the world.
Los Blancos skipper Sergio Ramos, who has been a regular fixture in the dream team, is said to be on £200 000 (R3.6 million) a week in the Spanish capital, while his defensive teammate Marcelo reportedly earns £100 000 (R1.8 million) a week.
Toni Kroos is another Real star named in the side, and the German is believed to be on £200 000 (R3.6 million) a week, while his midfield partner Luka Modric is said to earn £180 000 (R3.2 million) a week. The third midfield maestro, Andres Iniesta, is reportedly on £165 000 (R2.9 million) a week at Barca, according to totalSPORTEK.
The front three consisted of the three finalists for the FIFA Best Men's award, a prize that Cristiano Ronaldo won for the fifth time in his career. The Portuguese reportedly earns £365 000 (R6.6 million) every week at Real, while Selecao talisman Neymar is said to be on £446 000 (R8.1 million) a week in France.

Argentina superstar Messi is the highest earning player among the 11 who were named in the dream team, with the 30-year-old said to be on £500 000 (R9.1 million) a week at the Blaugrana.
