The 44-year-old former player-turned-club owner, who was recently selected for France Football's Ballon d'Or Dream Team, sat down with the French publication for an exclusive interview.
Among the topics discussed, he spoke about the players he looked up to when he was younger.
"Marco van Basten, for sure. From a very young age I watched Italian football and paid special attention to this player," Ronaldo said.
"(Diego) Maradona and (Johan) Cruyff, too. And Zico, of course, because he played for Flamengo and I was a fan of that team.
"I tried to take something from all of them and ultimately I can say that I am proud of the career I have had."
Ronaldo also named current Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane as best footballer he played with, and also praised his managerial achievements too.
"Zizou has been the best player I have trained and played with," the Brazilian added.
