Cristiano Ronaldo & Lionel Messi's FIFA Awards Votes Revealed

Who did Ronaldo & Messi vote for?

Did Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi vote for each other? Who did Bafana Bafana's Thulani Hlatshwayo and Stuart Baxter see as The Best Men's Player in 2017? Read on to find out!

Click through the gallery above to see selected national team captains' votes for FIFA's main award, as announced by FIFA.

Four voting panels decide the main prize at FIFA's awards gala – national team captains, national team coaches, one media representative per member association, as well as fans, with each carrying a 25% weighting.

As respective captains of their national teams, Ronaldo and Messi had to vote for their favourites for the 2017 award, but once again snubbed each other.

The Portuguese nominated his teammates Luka Modric, Sergio Ramos and Marcelo, while Messi picked Luis Suarez, Andres Iniesta and Neymar.

The two superstars, who have now shared FIFA's main award for the past 10 years, have a history of not selecting each other.

Meanwhile, South Africa captain at the time Hlatshwayo selected Ronaldo, Sergio Ramos and Eden Hazard, while Bafana coach Baxter picked Messi, Hazard and Iniesta.
