Modric recently beat Ronaldo to the UEFA Men's Player of the Year award, something that did not sit well the Portuguese and his entourage.
The Juventus superstar netted 15 goals as Los Blancos clinched the 2017/18 Champions League crown, and Real midfielder Casemiro believes his former teammate deserves the accolade.
"Luka's year has been spectacular," the Brazilians told reporters, according to FourFourTwo.
"But, in my opinion, I would give it to Cristiano Ronaldo because he has been the best throughout last season."

Modric was named the best player at the 2018 World Cup, having helped Croatia reach their first ever final at the global showpiece.
