The Moroccan giants secured top spot in Group B after registering 15 points from six matches, which was only bettered by Mamelodi Sundown in Group A.
Raja met the Red Devils in the CAF Super Cup last year but suffered defeat via the penalty shoot-out, however Taoussi believes his team enter the clash in better form.
"We have a good, strong group of players not to mention the experience I have in Africa," Taoussi told Moroccan website El Botola.
"We are going through a really good phase at the moment.
"We will do our best to advance to the next round and we will do our best to achieve our goals and make the Raja fans proud."
The clash is scheduled to get underway at 22h00 on Saturday night at the Al Ahly WE Al Salam Stadium.
