Barcelona legend Samuel Eto'o's son has officially found a new club in Europe.
Ex-Bucs Coach Reveals 'Verbal Agreement' With Al Ahly
After leaving Spanish club Real Oviedo at the end of last season, 19-year-old Etienne Eto'o has signed on the dotted line for Portuguese outfit Vitoria Guimaraes as a free agent.
The U20 Cameroon international will play for the team's U23 side, as revealed in a club statement on their official website.
"Vitoria Sport Clube – Futebol, SAD announces the hiring of 19-year-old Etienne Eto'o, who joins the under-23 Vitorian team, coached by Luiz Felipe," the statement read, according to African Football.
"With passages through the youth teams of Mallorca, Baleares, and Oviedo, the under-20 international for Cameroon arrives at Vitoria to evolve in the Revelation League."
The youngster had only been on Oviedo's books since 2020, after previously turning out for Real Mallorca and Baleares at youth level.
Despite his promise, Eto'o's son is yet to make a senior club appearance in professional football.
