Egyptian giants Zamalek are reportedly in advanced talks with a former Orlando Pirates coach over replacing Jose Peseiro.
Peseiro was relieved of his duties as Zamalek coach last month after a string of poor results in the Egyptian Premier League.

A number of coaches have been linked with the role, including South African duo Pitso Mosimane and Rulani Mokwena.
However, Egyptian Telegraph have reported that Zamalek are advanced negotiations with former Orlando Pirates coach Josef Zinnbauer.
The German tactician is currently the head coach of Algerian outfit JS Kabylie, who currently sit in second spot on the Ligue 1 standings.
It is believed that Zamalek see Zinnbauer as a strong, experienced coach capable of leading the team in the next phase after the team finished third in the Egyptian Premier League.
The report adds that Zinnbauer welcomes the idea of the coaching the White Knights provided all the details are agreed upon with the club.
The German tactician still has one year remaining on his contract with Kabylie.
