Al Ahly continued their unbeaten run in the Egyptian Premier League this season courtesy of Percy Tau's latest strike for the Red Devils.

The Club of the Century returned to winning ways on Wednesday evening, when they secured a 1-0 victory over 13th-placed Ismaily at the Cairo International Stadium.
The victory comes after Marcel Koller's men endured their first draw since February when they were held to a 0-0 scoreline by Future FC last week.
The north African giants have now returned to that winning feeling and have South African talisman Tau to thank for that. The Witbank native shone once again for Ahly as it was his 50th-minute strike that proved the difference between the two sides on the night, helping his team maintain their top position as they approach the final six games of the league campaign.
The forward, also known as the "Lion of Judah", has been in scintillating form this season as far as CAF Champions League football is concerned, scoring five times, and now it seems the Bafana Bafana star is replicating his form on the domestic front as well.
The goal against Ismaily was the 29-year-old's first strike in the Egyptian top division since December as he closes in on double figures for goals across all competitions for the record African champions for the first time.

Tau is entering the final year of his contract in Cairo, but given his exploits in 2022/23, it appears likely the club will be keen to extend the ex-Mamelodi Sundowns attacker's contract sooner rather than later.
