Having been hosted by Kaizer Chiefs last season for their CAF Champions League clash with Mamelodi Sundowns, Al Ahly have now confirmed their training base in South Africa for this weekend's match against Masandawana.

On Saturday afternoon, a titanic tussle between two African powerhouses is set to take place in the nation's capital.
The Egyptian giants will be looking to secure their first victory in the country when they take on Masandawana at Loftus Versfeld.
Three games into their respective Champions League campaigns and it is the DSTV Premiership champions who are ahead of the Club of the Century in Group B, so this weekend's match will prove pivotal in both teams' aspirations of progressing to the quarter-finals.
Last season, the Egyptian Premier League table-toppers were also tasked with defeating Sundowns in the tournament's group stages, and there was much uproar in the South African football fraternity when they were given access to Chiefs' Naturena facilities in order to prepare for their encounter against the Brazilians.
That Ahly side was coached by Pitso Mosimane, but now their Swiss boss Marcel Koller has seemingly not been afforded the same courtesy as the Red Devils decided to utilise the University of Pretoria's High-Performance Centre for a light training session after arriving in the country on Wednesday night.

The team from Cairo will be based solely in Tshwane for the duration of their stay, and will have a training session at Loftus on Friday afternoon before their 15:00 kick-off against Rhulani Mokwena's men at the same venue the next day.
