Not all records are nice to hold, you know? As a Red Devil, I love to see Steven Gerrard on the list, and here are some of the other worst Premier League records that fans and players hold.
And here they are!
Liverpool 100% Win Record Without Gerrard This Season
This season, whenever Liverpool has taken to the field without captain Steven Gerrard, they’ve won! Yes, he’s been undoubtedly one of the best players over the last decade, and a real legend, but this one has got to sting a little – and we are glad!
Goalless Aston Villa
Then manager, Paul Lambert and his side went a whole 10 hours without scoring a goal, breaking the previous record. If that doesn’t sound poor enough, let’s put it in to perspective for you. Cristiano Ronaldo this season averages a goal every 65 minutes in La Liga.
Derby’s Terrible EPL Win Record
It’s a little harsh to laugh at this one, but it’s all you can really do for this atrocious record! In the 2007/08 season, the only managed one win – the fewest ever. They also lost 29 games, which is tie with the most losses in a season. They only got 11 points all season!
QPR’s Away Form
From the 2011/12 season up until December last year, QPR lost 31 out of 40 away games! Eight of those 31 losses have come in this season’s campaign - though they have since managed to end that woeful record.
