Why A Move To Downs Could Better Manyisa’s Career

To many football fans a move to Mamelodi Sundowns for any player could potential spell career suicide. There are a few players though who make the big money move and become household names at the club.

We can only think about players like Teko Modise, Hlompho Kekana and Bongani Zungu who have singed for the club and became indispensable to the team in the process. Now, Oupa Manyisa is yet another big name player which has been linked with a big money move to Chloorkop.

Fans already feel that should he move to Sundowns right now his career would take an exponential dip. However, I beg to differ in that regard... I actually feel a move to Sundowns will better his career.

At the moment, Manyisa is one of, if not the best player at Pirates.

Look at the combination of Manyisa and Andile Jali for one. Jali was a phenomenal player for Bucs and always looked on the same page with Manyisa. None of them had to do much to match each other’s ability when they formed that telepathic relationship on the field.

When Jali left, Manyisa to a certain extent looked out of sorts with fellow midfielders Issa Sarr and Thandani Ntshumayelo not complimenting Ace as good as Jali did.

At Sundowns, Manyisa could line-up with names like Hlompho Kekana, Bongani Zungu and the evergreen Teko Modise. These are real top quality players who without a doubt can match Manyisa’s ability and talent.

This is why I feel a move to Downs may be a good one for Manyisa.
