Trends come and go in football, and this year’s trend is that of the big beard. Who has the best beard in the PSL? Let’s take a look!

For a long time now, former Kaizer Chiefs defender Tefu Mashamaite sported a powerful bit of facial hair, and even since his return to Mzansi, he has kept the beard.

Ajax Cape Town’s Nathan Paulse has spent many months working on his beard, so much so that there is no space between his lip and his hairline.

One club who is making beards a thing, and is likely to win the award for Movember, is Orlando Pirates. Riyaad Norodien, Bernard Morrison and Oupa Manyisa have all been known to sport this “manly” look.
