The story

One of the Betway Premiership's brightest young talents, Mfundo Vilakazi celebrated another trip around the sun on Tuesday, with "Obrigado" being celebrated by his teammates, rivals and his growing following.

Vilakazi has been making a mark in the Betway Premiership for the Glamour Boys, gaining attention from football fans for his Kasi Flava dribbling, passion and creativity in the final third among other strong attributes.

Along with his mesmerising talent on the pitch, Vilakazi also has a kind heart. One of the standout birthday wishes for the teenage sensation came from teammate Sabelo Radebe (currently on loan at Richards Bay).

Sabelo Radebe shared a touching but funny clip of Vilakazi giving a child in Türkiye what appears to be a green note, telling the child that it's $100.

Watch below:

The Soweto-born talent, who's only league goal of the season so far being an incredible strike against Marumo Gallants, enjoyed a wholesome night out for his birthday celebrations.

The talented midfield prodigy took to Instagram to express his gratitude to the many people who wished him a happy birthday, sharing photos of himself and his close friends enjoying dessert at a Johannesburg restaurant.

Take a look:

Defender Inacio Miguel also had a standout Instagram birthday post for Vilakazi, with the Portuguese-speaking baller writing a message in isiZulu.

Miguel, who's worn the armband on a number of occassions for Amakhosi, wrote: "Okuhle kodwa ngane yakwethu [I wish you all good things, brother]"
