Despite being in a great position to win the league title, this season has been one devoid of a prolific goal-scorer for Kaizer Chiefs. Perhaps then, Zimbabwean international Nyasha Mushekwi should be considered for the coming campaign?
Mushekwi graced the PSL in 2010 for Mamelodi Sundowns where he enjoyed a great couple of seasons with the Brazilians.
His impeccable from saw him join a long list of Zimbabweans who have impressed in the PSL, and became a popular figure for Sundowns.
In recent seasons, however, Mushekwi has been in contractual limbo for the Chloorkop-based side, who loaned him out to Belgian side KV Oostende.
He is now currently trying out at Swedish side Djugardens IF, where he is hoping to land a permanent deal.
Should he not earn himself a permanent stay in Sweden, Mushekwi will be forced to return to Chloorkop, where talks about where his future will take place.
If he returns to Mzansi, Chiefs should perhaps consider pouncing on this proven striker in order to beef up their frontline.
Khosi fans, should Chiefs take advantage of Mushekwi's situation?
