Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Siphiwe Tshabalala recently celebrated his 300th appearance for the Glamour Boys, and during his time at the club, he has played with a number of top-notch talents. But who was the best? Let's take a look!
The 32-year-old has scored 53 goals in the 10 years he has been at Naturena, seeing him form solid partnerships with his teammates. However, there was one player who stood head and shoulders above the rest for him.
"It's difficult to single out one player. However, if I have to, playing with Thabo Mooki always meant a lot to me," he told Chiefs' official website. "I used to watch him play at the annual Godfrey Moloi Goodwill Games.
"He was the star and I admired the way he played. Then, suddenly, at Chiefs, we were teammates, sitting in the same dressing room and playing together. On top of that, Thabo was very welcoming and really helped me to settle at the club."
Outside of his attributes and skills, "Shabba" is also known for the friendship he formed with Reneilwe Letsholonyane, who he claims is more than just a best friend.
"We played eight seasons together at Chiefs," he added. "We not only remained best friends, we are brothers. We get along well on and off the field and we are also business partners. We played together for Bafana Bafana too."
In your opinion, which Shabba partnership was the best on the field?
