During the past seven years, the two-time CAF Men's Player of the Year has etched himself into the Reds' history books on multiple occasions. The prolific forward has scored an extraordinary amount of goals and won all there is to win in club football during his time at Anfield.
However, it is looking increasingly likely that the 2024/25 season will be Salah's final campaign with the Merseysiders but as he is yet to extend what is an expiring contract and the Premier League giants are keen on replacing their Egyptian talisman with one of his compatriots.
Omar Marmoush has been in remarkable form for Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt this season, scoring 11 goals and providing seven assists in all competitions for the German outfit and this has caught the attention of multiple English sides, mainly Liverpool.
With it looking as though Salah is on his way out, the six-time European champions want to sign Marmoush as his replacement and according to SportBild, they have already initiated talks with the player's representative as it is believed that he has always wanted to play in the Premier League.
