Winners – Orlando Pirates
It is never easy coming back from two goals down, but do it in a foreign country is something quite special. On Sunday the Buccaneers managed to turn over their 2-0 deficit to record a 2-2 draw against Gabonese side Mounana.
Losers – Bidvest Wits
The Clever Boys had the opportunity to go equal on points with second-placed Sundowns, but they were held to a 0-0 draw against Chippa United. As a result, they remain in third place and two points shy of the Brazilians…. A squandered opportunity at its finest!
Who Needs To Improve – Moroka Swallows
After finding themselves bottom of the table, and with Free State Stars having claimed a victory on the weekend, the Dube Birds are in a desperate need of an intervention to avoid relegation. They have four more games left to save their PSL status.
They Said What? – Khune Says No To Xenophobia
The Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper took to Instagram to confirm his belief in the campaign ‘Say no to Xenophobia'. Khune posted a picture which saw him standing alongside Chiefs’ foreigners Willard Katsande and Ovidy Karuru with the words: “We are all Africans” and “Stop the hate.”
