Mokwana penned a three-year deal with the Tunisian giants despite interest from Amakhosi and Sundowns.
The winger experienced a breakout 2023/24 season with Sekhukhune United, which saw him form an integral part of Hugo Broos' Bafana Bafana squad.
"There were some teams that wanted me like Sundowns [and] Chiefs, but for myself I wanted to move away from home and get some more exposure. We all know in Africa that Esperance is one of the biggest teams in the world, so I wanted to come here and experience it and give my all," he told the club's media department.
The winger has been assigned the number seven jersey at the club and will be hoping to help them retain their league title won in 2023/24, with an eye cast on the CAF Champions League as well as the FIFA Club World Cup in 2025.
