Manchester United have reportedly made a joint bid for two stars currently playing for the same club.

According to The Athletic journalist David Ornstein, the Red Devils have officially moved to sign Bayern Munich defensive duo Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui.
It is said the German giants have turned down United's first proposal, but it is understood that the two teams remain in talks.

This news comes after reports suggesting that both the Dutch international and Morocco right-back have agreed five-year deals to join the 20-time English champions in this window.
Bayern are reportedly requesting a higher fee for the two players, who both worked under Erik ten Hag at Ajax Amsterdam.

Should they join United, they would become INEOS' third and fourth acquisitions ahead of the 2024/25 season, after Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro.
