The skillful winger was questioned about his future at the club as he looks to cement a starting berth.

"I'm happy to be here," Diallo said after the game, as per Goal.

"I'm happy to play for this club, and yeah, I want to stay here for a long, long, long time to make history with this club."

The Ivorian winger also shared his thoughts on playing under Ruben Amorim, who begins his reign with United on 11 November.

"I am excited to have him in this team and I can't wait to work with him. We are ready for the next step. "

"I know I was player of the month in August, but I have moved on. "

"I am focused for now, for the future and to give my best for the shirt and get this team back on top again."
