Young Africans Coach Sends Warning To Chiefs

Young Africans Coach Sends Warning To Chiefs

Young Africans head coach Miguel Gamondi

Young Africans coach Miguel Gamondi has sent a warning to Kaizer Chiefs ahead of their Toyota Cup clash on Sunday.

The Tanzanian giants have been in South Africa for the past couple weeks preparing for the new season.

Young Africans have already faced Azam FC and TS Galaxy in the past week but will not take on Chiefs, who are coached by former Yanga tactician Nasreddine Nabi.

Gamondi, who has coached at Mamelodi Sundowns, has warned Chiefs that his side will not park the bus.

"For sure, we have more days to work, to be a little bit more fit and more tactically working, but not 100% like we were [at the end of last season]. I think Chiefs will be in the same position," he said, as per the Guardian.

"Football for me as a coach is a show. We need to play football, we need to play attacking.

"For me, it would have probably been more easy to play five defenders, park the bus, and see what happens.

"But it's not my style and I think with Kaizer Chiefs it will be a nice game as well because we will play attractive football."
