The Argentine has often said he hopes to give back to his country of birth one day, and it appears he is now doing just that.
Juan Pineiro Municipal Park, a sports centre, will reportedly receive €240 000 (R3.4 million) from the Blaugrana superstar, in order for the grounds to be revamped, according to Marca.
The centre is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and with the donation from one of the country's best players ever, its bathrooms, dressing rooms, and administrative offices will all be renovated, while new paths and lighting will also be added.
