Only a handful of players in Marc Batchelor, Thabang Lebese, Siyabonga Nomvethe and Collins Mbesuma have had the honour of turning out for Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates and Moroka Swallows.
Batchelor and Mbesuma took it a step further by adding Mamelodi Sundowns to an impressive list.
But Chiefs' latest recruit Bongani Sam has joined that elite club after penning a deal with Amakhosi, having previously turned out for Pirates and Swallows, where he had spent the 2023/24 season on loan.
"It's an honour for me to be one of the players who played for all the teams in Soweto and I'm really happy and excited and I can't wait for the season to start," he told SuperSport.
His excitement has been echoed by Kaizer Chiefs' Sporting Director Kaizer Motaung Jr, who hailed Sam's experience despite his age of 26.
"We are really excited to have Bongani Sam in our fold. Given his age, which is 26, he has amassed quite a bit of experience having played for several teams in the Premiership since he started his top-flight career seven years ago. We do wish him well and we know he will fit in as part of the Kaizer Chiefs family," he told the club's official website.
