The story

Indomitable Lions goalkeeper Andre Onana was swarmed by Manchester United after Cameroon's 0-0 draw with Zimbabwe at the Nelson Mandela Stadium in Kampala, Uganda on Tuesday.

The Warriors were forced to host their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Cameroon in Uganda after CAF deemed Zimbabwe stadiums as sub-standard conditions to cost a continental encounter.

Onana was the star of the show for the partizan Ugandan crowd, clad in Manchester United red to cheer on one of the club's three African nationals.

According to reports in Uganda, the Man U fans in Kampala surrounded the moving Cameroon team bus on its way to the ground before kick-off, with Red Devils shot-stopper embracing the love from his window by waving at the supporters.

Onana was touched by the outpouring of love from the passionate Ugandan fans. After Cameroon's stalemate against Zimbabwe, He gave away his shoes, shin guards, and gloves to the fans in the stands, before being ushered away by security.
