Top Future Stadiums

A stadium can play a major factor in a club or country's success on the football pitch. Today we take a look at some of the best stadiums that are set to be constructed in the future.

Baku Olympic Stadium (Azerbaijan)

This colourful stadium with a retractable roof is set to be opened in 2015. With 65 000 seats, hotels, shops and concerts, it is set to become so much more than a football stadium in Azerbaijan.

Stanley Park Stadium (England)

Liverpool's plans to move away from Anfield to a more modern stadium, with a larger capacity were put on hold, but now John Henry has reasserted efforts to bring the 72 000-seater stadium to fans of the club. It looks absolutely beautiful.

New Zenit Stadium (Russia)

With a retractable roof, sliding pitch and a remarkable exterior, Zenit's new 69 000-seater stadium is set to bring the club to brand new heights. It will play host to several matches in the 2018 World Cup as well.

Nou Mestalla (Spain)

Valencia CF have had some financial set-backs over the years, but new owner, Peter Lin, is set to oversee the final construction process of their aesthetic masterpiece, which will take their club back to the top of Spanish football.

Battersea Power Station (England)

Chelsea are set to move from Stamford bridge into this beauty that is set to hold 60 000 fans. With an industrial design, its glass bowl rooftop, and cross-platform design looks amazing!
