Mthethwa showed his appreciation for his sister by purchasing her a new car and thanked her for stepping up when their mother sadly passed away.

Mthethwa's heartfelt gesture
Swallows' Mthethwa pulled on the heartstrings this week after buying his older sister a ruby red KIA Seltos.
Mthethwa went on to thank his sister for always being by his side and stepping up to fill that maternal role left by his mother who passed away when they were children.

"To My Day one there are no words that I can say that could describe the love I have for you, thank you for everything you have done in my life, you are my sister and my everything. You took that responsibility of being my mom at an early age after our mother past away and from that day I never felt loneliness. In everything I did you were always by my side.
"I know this is ain't much but this is just the other part of me showing you my appreciation for ever being present in my life. Thank you my everything, I love u so much."
Mthethwa's message to his sister was accompanied by images of them unveiling her new car at the dealership and what appears to be an old picture of him with his late mother.
