Orlando Pirates assistant coach Rhulani Mokwena recently shared a heartwarming moment with Mamelodi Sundowns owner Patrice Motsepe in one of his most recent Instagram posts. Did you see it?
The match between Downs and Pirates was remembered more for what had happened off the field of play as opposed to what happened on it – a Downs fan managed to bypass security and confront Mokwena in the technical area, after which he was quickly dealt with.
However, the former Sundowns assistant coach had a silver lining to the madness of his own after club owner Patrice Motsepe paid him a visit in the changing room after the final whistle.
Mokwena took to Instagram Stories to pay homage to Motsepe, saying: "I'm humbled by how you walked into our changeroom yesterday looking for 'your son'. I appreciate your inspirational words and the love you continue to show towards me. I'm not worthy really but I'm grateful. What a man!"
