The streetwear brand is slowly gaining a reputation as one of South Africa's best contemporary fashion brands is debuted their Bafana jersey on the runway.

Refuse Studios' Bafana jersey
As pointed by culture magazine Hypebeast, soccer jersey's are set to be a trend that major streetwear brands push in the year 2023.
Brands such as Balenciaga, Palace, Martine Rose and even Kasi Flavour 10 have all dropped their unique takes on jerseys.
REFUSE Studios, a brand headed by designers Minenhle Memela and Malcolm Majatladi have taken the South African streetwear landscape by storm, featuring on SA's GQ and winning the South African Fashion Week Scouting menswear competition.
The brand reimagines a futuristic Bafana Bafana jersey, using their eccentric perspective to put together a predominantly black jersey, with bright touches of green, yellow and a spark of orange.

The kit also sees REFUSE using the South Africa Football Association (SAFA) logo and the brand's name is seen underneath. The jersey has the vibrance of a 90's goalkeeper jersey and it comes with the number 16 on it, an appropriate number for a reserve goalkeeper.
REFUSE's Bafana jersey was seen on the runway at the South African Fashion Week Scouting menswear competition, where they showcased their "Uhambo" collection:
